Nati and Kierre’s wedding reception was held at the beautiful Crystal Marquis in Whittier, CA. Step into this building and you are literally transported back into the 1920’s. It was a great honor to be the DJ for this very special wedding because of the couple’s stories. It was both their second marriages and it was truly a love story that was meant to be. Kierre is an officer in the Marines who has a great sense of humor and Nati is a vivacious bride so full of life and positive energy!
For the wedding package, I provided moderate-coverage uplighting with a static Navy Blue color theme during the formalities and color-changes during the dances. I also designed and provided a custom monogram that was projected on the wall to complete the elegant look of this wedding reception.
The formalities were kept at a minimum with the highlight being the first dance where a special live performance of Ed Sheeren’s “Thinking Out Loud” was beautifully sung by recording artist, Ken Henry. After the cake was cut, garter and bouquet tossed, I kept the dance floor packed with a mixture of Top 40, R&B and Chicago style steppin’ music. Congratulations Nati and Kierre!
